Dennis Christen joins as Global Product Manager, Wildlife, Zoological and Marine Logistics
We are pleased to announce that Dennis Christen has joined Intradco Global as our new Global Product Manager, Wildlife, Zoological and Marine Logistics.

We knew we needed someone who deeply understood exactly what Zoo’s, Aquariums and other conservation organizations need from an A-Z basis. Dennis is the perfect match, because he has lived and breathed this for long periods of his impressive career. His unique blend of hands-on animal expertise and proven track record in managing complex animal moves will be invaluable as we continue to advance our commitment to animal welfare during transport” says Charlie McMullen, Intradco CEO.
Dennis brings more than 35 years of leadership in the care, welfare and management of animals in zoological institutions, aquariums and conservation settings. His career began at the Vancouver Aquarium in 1989 and went on to include pivotal roles at the Alaska SeaLife Center and nearly two decades at Georgia Aquarium, where he most recently served as Senior Director of Animal Wellbeing, Behaviour and Zoological Compliance.
Throughout his career, Dennis has led teams in the husbandry and behavioural management of marine mammals, seabirds and other aquatic species. He has overseen complex exhibit and facility designs, coordinated animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts, and played a central role in internationally recognised animal transports, including the recent high-profile relocation of beluga whales from war-torn Ukraine to Spain. He has been recognised multiple times by the International Marine Animal Trainers Association for his achievements in animal training, research and husbandry. Dennis has also made frequent appearances on the television programmes Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin and Discovery Channel/Animal Planet’s The Aquarium.
In his new role with Intradco Global, Dennis will focus on strengthening our specialist capabilities in wildlife, zoological and marine animal logistics. He will work closely with our global team of logistics experts to develop and deliver safe, efficient and welfare-focused transport solutions that support the missions of zoos, aquariums, NGOs and conservation programmes worldwide.
