Debut of USA Domestic Equine charter product PHX–MIA–PHX
Intradco are pleased to introduce the use of our HAY and portable 737F ramps into the USA market, which allows for up to 21 horses to travel over 6-hour sectors. This stall system has been meticulously developed in the UK and EU over the last 3 years and we look forward to continued success across the short haul market. This will give equine shipping agents a new type of service across the Domestic US market, and short haul international market from the US.
For our debut flight, our Chief Flying Groom Zac Carroll commented: “20 horses were loaded using our proprietary ramp system. Intradco’s equine ramp is a unique design for the aircraft type we utilise for these shipments, which means for a quicker loading and offloading process.
Our fully collapsible Intradco ramp travels in the belly of the aircraft, to be used port to port. This ramp doubles up as a great contingency during any adverse event which requires landing at an alternative location without specialist equine ramps. That level of detail matters every time.
Inside the aircraft, our collapsible stalls secured the narrow-body aircraft type in use. The flat-floor design removed the need for a step-down from ramp to stall, reducing limb stress during loading, a feature design we refined through years of feedback from other stalls we employed in the EU market”
We look forward to opening up additional routes in the US Domestic market, and other short haul sectors such as USA to Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru, Bahamas and more.
