Flying Horses with Zac Carroll
Intradco Global’s very own professional flying groom, Zac Carroll, was recently featured in a video created by GallopTV, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to fly horses across the globe.
Among the 32 horses flying from Cape Town to Europe, was seven-time race winner Gimme A Nother.
As a professional flying groom, Zac’s role is to accompany and monitor the horses, making sure their journey is as smooth, comfortable, and safe as possible.
Upon the horses’ arrival at the airport, Zac and the team carefully walk them from the truck onto their jet stall, where hay nets await them to be snacked on. Comfort and safety have highest priority in this process.
As one of four grooms on board of the aircraft, Zac is dedicated to ensuring the horses are happy, hydrated, fed, and at a comfortable temperature throughout the entire journey.
